The Muses House Hotel is nothing less than perfection in all aspects…. the hospitality of Stephan, Adrian & Gurken; the attention to detail in the garden, rooms, service, setting and food. Upon our arrival Adrian presented us with a plate of fresh watermelon that their neighbor had just given them… and then generously shared stories of the evolving history of the Muses House. Stephan added to the tale at the candlelit poolside later in the evening. I can see a book in the future…. they will have a million stories to tell about the masterpiece they have created and the guests that will return to bask in their warmth and the beauty of the Muses.
My only advice would be to learn a few words of Turkish so as to be able to say Hello to the local people as you walk through the picturesque village.
The Muses House must certainly rate as one of the finest boutique hotels in the world. It truly is impeccable in all aspects. Enjoy!

Kusadasi is a beautiful place with some of the most friendly people I have ever met. Bar street is always buzzing and a great laugh staying open til the wee hours of the morning. We also go to a little bar called Mamma Mias which is great and you are really made feel welcome and taken care of so far as they make sure that you never have to go look for taxi or anything on your own

The resort was nice, especially the pool and the grounds. It is definitely not a 5 star resort, more like a 3 star. The evening entertainment was also good.
Sadly, there were quite a few minuses.
1 – The main reason I booked into this resort w because I was assured the kids club was very good. I was on holiday with my 7 year old son. However the kids club was virtually non existant in the day. When I asked what activities they had it was either drawing (inside) or watching tv (inside). The other activities on offer were chargeable. The animation team carried out activities in the day, but it was mainly for adults and teenagers.
2 – the food was pretty awful, especially the breakfast. I found out later that the resort attracts mostly eastern Europeans, so the food is catered around them. This wouldn’t be so bad if it was edible, but it was all in all sub-standard.
3 – you will find yourself being ripped off if you’re not careful. The animation team really push products onto you such as CDs, bingo tickets, t-shirts, and they are not cheap. They will not take NO for an answer, and will often leave the goods with you and almost forcibly get money off of you later, or get your room number and charge it to that.
4 – The layout of the bars meant that in the evenings, if you went to the entertainment in the amphitheatre, you either had to have the sub-standard cocktails served there, or trudge quite a way to the busy pool bar to get drinks.
5 – Additional activities, such as billiards, air hockey etc, were very expensive.
6 – Take wet wipes if you use the pool-side toilets. They are disgusting!
7 – The older, single storey rooms are not that good, and could do with refurbishing. The cleaning is also a bit hit and miss!

A very friendly resort, i did about visiting the town. Clean place have seen alot worse.
Entertainment could be advertised a bit better, as we were not keen on bar street.

The resort was excellent. The Private beach was clean and tidy at all times. There were plenty of ‘sun chairs’. A beautiful view of the Ocean. Right on the seafront, as promised. We will certainly be going back.

Kusadasi itsself is a great resort! Would definetly recommend ladies beach! and get sunbeds! they are so comftortable and for only 12 lira (?4) for 2 and an umbrella they are well worth it! I did find it rather hot laying on the matress on the sunbed but my boyfriend had mine too so he was very comftortable!
Kusadasi town centre, is great with Bar Street and lots of lovely restaurants! we never had a bad meal! It didnt matter where we went! We found the food to be amazing and very cheap! We were on average paying 80 lira for dinner which is little over ?25.00 and thats for starter, main course each and 6 or 8 alcoholic drinks!
One thing that i would say that we hated about Kusadasi are the shop touts! They are unstoppable and very intrusive! you really have to be strong and just keep your head down and what ever do you, dont let them get hold of your hand as they literally do not let go!!! We found them to be rude, inconsiderate and sometimes we couldnt wait to get back to the hotel to get away from them!
