First of all i want to go back there now because it is soooo cold here!! The weather over there was really nice for the 2 weeks we were there, in the 30′s everyday, some days were a bit cloudy but still warm, and there was 1 or 2 days i think with storms and rain but it didnt spoil…

Returned this morning and did not want to leave the sealight resort. We loved everything about this hotel and had an amazing, relaxing holiday. The beach was clean with crystal clear blue waters, food was delicious with something for everyone (even my fussy fiance!). There was so much to do at this hotel that we could have easily stayed for…

We have just arrived back from the Sealight, it is a beautiful clean hotel, lovely rooms and a beautiful pool, my grandchildren enjoyed the slides especially. The only down fall is the food, and service in the restaurant, it is extremely poor. I understand you are in Turkey and need to adapt, but I do like my food hot, also I…

Just been here for 1 week with Thomas Cook on an AI package. Overall excellent value for money and would go back to this hotel. The hotel itself is very impressive and was a lot larger than we thought. Our room was perfect (we had a superior room) which overlooked the sea and was on the quieter side of the…

Beaches – Ladies Beach was a mixture of sand and cigarette ends, very dirty. Long Beach is much better although further away.
Restaurants – the main two we went to were King’s Place and Victoriya on the road into Kasadasi itself (about 10 mins walk). The man who does the pavement work at King’s Place seems to be Borat’s love child, great fun, and Kaplan the main man is a great host.
The Victoriya was run by Mikey, Joseph and Ahmir, very friendly and welcoming. Great food at both places.

We have not used the beaches in Kusadasi as the Palmin tends to cosset people so much that a venture up and down those hills is best left for those of us that are related to Goats !!!

But the resort does seem to be generally well kept – the standard of litter control would shame many of the Irish that visit each year.

As regards entertainment; outside of the hotels the entertainment seems to be onfined to the availability of a waterpark outside the town and Bar Street – although the archaelogical wonders of Ephesus and Hierapolis are available through a number of tour operators.

There are some excellent restaurants in the town – particularily Saray which is located behind the old Post Office. On Ladies Beach there are a number of nice restaurants which compete reasonably well with the local hotels for prices – but that said the hotels – particularly the Palmin – are not overpriced for their food.

I am aware this contradicts a previous correspondent above but I am quite certain the Palmin is the best value locally – for standards, quantity, price and comfort.

A number of “change offices” are available throughout the town again the rates are not much different to what is available in the hotel

The bigger Princess Cruise Ships visit the harbour every couple of days and it is very pleasant to go down to watch the extra excitement/buzz they bring to the towns traders

Kusadasi is too busy, went to the Turkish night in town – ok but a bit disappointing for the cost.

Jeep safari a let down, but 1/2 day Ephesus and donkey safari a must. Trip to Samos good too, relaxing ferry ride-escaped from Turkey, 17yr old nervous about recent bomb.
Sunbeds on beach usually vacant, but due to high season these filled up quickly too.

Entertainment ok, a bit late though as tired out trying to get up early to bag a sunbed.

Resort very nice, cheap which I am sure a lot of people would like to know, for example a bottle of beer is just over ?1.00. Food example a 20oz t-bone steak with trimmings is only ?7.00.
Everywhere is very clean, there is plenty of entertainment in the main town. Only downside when in town you do get a lot of hassle but this is to be expected.
Beach is very clean, doesn?t cost a lot for a sun bed all day, you also have bars and cafes, toilets etc on the beach.

Yes I would definitely visit this resort again.

Stayed in Kusadasi which was very picturesque and not what i was expecting at all, Kusadasi town was a minefield of shops, shops and more shops so great for all you shopaholics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The only bad thing is that you do get pestered an awful lot when you pass their shops as it seems they are desperate for your custom, the best places to go are to the market in Kusadasi town which is on Wednesdays, they sell loads of genuine fake clothing at ridiculously cheap prices, also worth doing the shopaholics excursion if you’re a brand name person as they stop at Nike, Adidas, wrangler etc…..outlets where things are cheaper than normal and the real thing not imitatations!

Mamma Mia’s cafe in the town is a good place to eat and def place to visit is the port of Kusadasi where all the massive cruise liners stop at, so definitely worth a visit there, makes you see Titanic in a different light!

I?d recommend going to Kusadasi.
