This hotel was a nightmare. The rooms were dirty when we arrived, and one was stinking of sewage. The hotel took 3 days before they came to look at it. They never cleaned the rooms properly the whole time we were there, and often had no clean towles for us, when I asked for them they just said tomorrow. On the day…
This hotel is very good and the service is second to none, but we were very disapointed with the accomodation, we were travelling with 2 teenagers and a 3yr old so had booked 2 rooms which were supposed to be next to each other, when we got there (6a.m.) we had to wait ages in reception before being shown to…
Just got back from a one week stay at the Pine Bay Hotel and I would definately give it 5 out of 5. I went with my boyfriend, we are both in our early twenties, and we had booked a room in the hotel. On the first night we were asked to stay in one of the bungalow rooms as…

We went with Thomas Cook (come to them later). The hotel is ( Pine Bay Holiday Resort) brilliant, the accomodation in the villa’s is not what we would except in England for 5*, but in reality, you only sleep there. They are very sparse indeed, but impeccably clean, we had 5 in our villa and we had to ask for a bed!. Response to requests…
After reading previous reviews regarding the villas and exterior accomodation being very basic and not 5 star, I contacted travelrepublic with whom I booked it with and asked to be put in the main building. However after numerous emails and phonecalls they said that it was through hotels4U and was not possible to be moved to main building as there…
We write this as a young student couple who stayed the Ephesus Princess at the start of September. What else can we say except that the place was absolutely superb!!
We arrived in the early hours of the night to be amazed by the luxury aesthetic of the reception and the very welcoming and professional nature of the staff.
Our…

Stayed here 23 May to 31 May.
Definately one of the best places i have stayed. Food was fab, loads of variety to choose from and can eat in many areas so if your on the beach you can snack there or by the waterslides you can snack there.
Great selection of waterslides with a pool and slides just for…
We travelled on the 23rd May for our first holiday in Turkey, and we chose the AI Pine Bay Resort. We flew into Izmir which meant a very speedy (but Thorough!) clearance through customs and and hour transfer later we were checked in and in our room. Absolutely totally impressed with the hotel from the moment we arrived! Incredibly helpful…
This is a really good holiday destination hotel for families with children off any age, they are all catered for.Kids club and pool for younger children and a very good aqua park with great water slides for older children and teenagers.
Food is very good and plentifull, but rather repetative after first week. Our family stayed in a bungalow that was very…

We stayed in the bungalows, on arrival we were shown to our bungalow and our bags followed 10mins later. the bunglow was nice but smelt a bit musky but was ok after we opened windows. To get to our bunglow we had to walk up a hill, the resort is very hilly but this didnt seem a problem for me.
The pool and water park were ver good and clean. the animation team were very funny and liked you to get invoved with pool games and were always smiling. Evening entertainment was also good with the team putting on various shows for example dancing singing and comedy sketches.
Food was excellent, i have never seen so much food in my life, they had a good variety and was something for everyone, themed food night consisted of international, fish, chinese, italian and turkish..there may be another one as well but cant remeber.
the all inclusive was very good food served all day from 12 at the pool snack bar and drinks all day (cocktails were very strong but nice).
Location wise it was a short car journey to the town but has its own ptivate beach which was a couple of mins walk from our bungalow with also had a snack and drinks bar on the beach. The beach was very clean and supplied free of charge sun beds unlike some beaches in turkey. We went on the pedalos whichwere also free and could see lots of fish swimming in the sea which was nice.
Would deffinatly go back, one of the best holidays i have been on, i am 20 years old and travelled with my partner and his family.

Before commenting on the hotel, which is excellent, I need to give a warning to anyone who may be reading this in advance of travelling to Pinebay and whose UK Travel Agent may have booked through YouTravel. This is the position we were in. We booked Pine Bay through a UK travel agent (having stayed there the previous year) and received an accommodation voucher shortly before travelling which confirmed the hotel details. The voucher showed that our agent, in turn, was using a company called YouTravel as their local agent in Turkey.
On arrival (at 4 am Sunday morning and with 2 very sleepy kids) we were told by the Pine Bay that they did not have a record of our booking and in fact that they had cancelled their relationship with YouTravel in February, 3 months before we even booked. Pine Bay advised that they were not able to take us in and the receptionist at Pine Bay sent us to another hotel overnight – The Adakule.
We tried to call the 24 hour emergency number we had been given by our agent at the time (and continually again over the next 24 hours) but did not get any assistance. Our agent insisted we had to sort out the problem ourselves directly with YouTravel; but YouTravel insisted we had to sort it out with our UK agent. Eventually we had to contact another local agent to book us into Pine Bay (at our cost) and were able to start our holiday there on the Tuesday.
My reason for posting this warning is that we met other guests at Adakule who had the same problem and the Pine Bay receptionist also indicated that he had dealt with a number of people in the same situation. I would recommend that anyone travelling to Pine Bay checks directly with the hotel that they have a record of the booking before travelling.
Now, on to the hotel. This was our second stay at this hotel and, again, it exceeded our expectations.
The location is great. A very pretty bay with a lovely beach with good watersports for teenagers and child-like adults. The sunsets are spectacular – especially from the Panorama Restaurant. Although it is a busy resort, it is possible to find areas where you can sunbathe in peace at the beach or along the coast. The aquapark is super and ideal for teenagers. The sea is great to swim in – very warm. Life guards are stationed on the beach and at the outdoor pools.
Food is of excellent quality and variety and even worked well for the picky vegetarian in our party. Drinks are good and we enjoy the table service in the lobby bar. The breakfast pancakes went down well with the kids.
The animation team work hard and give good entertainment through the day without being over the top (mostly – with the exception of crazy darts perhaps!). Mustafa is great fun and very friendly. The club dance round the pool in the morning is great fun. Frida at the kids club is fantastic with the kids. She even arranged for the older kids to go on a banana boat this stay, and my 12 year old son loved that. The kids also get to perform on stage shows. Kids Club runs every day from 10-12 and 2.30 –5.30 which means it is possible to have some time off to relax while the kids are having a ball. Bliss.
The rooms are very basic, but have fantastic sea views which more than make up for the lack of luxury indoors.
My son was ill during our stay and I was relieved that we were at Pine Bay where they have a doctor on site who speaks perfect English.
There are very few British guests at this hotel. If you are looking for a British resort this is not for you. We love it and are already looking forward to returning next year.

Wonderful hotel set in a pretty bay. We stayed in the main hotel on
All-Inclusive basis and the rooms were excellent very clean and comfortable with
safety deposit box and mini bar free of charge. Gorgeous sea views from our
balcony also wonderful views from the Piano Bar Terrace, that was one of at
least four bars that were open all day The staff at reception, the girls at
customer relations and the chambermaid were friendly and so helpful and the bar
staff were second to none. The only small gripe was that the food was not
brilliant very Turkish but hey so be it we were in Turkey but also never very
hot but to be fair this was because the food was served out side in the terrace
restaurant and it was quite chilly in the morning and evening this was rectified
on our day of departure and the restaurant inside was opened up. There was
always a wonderful selection of salads and the bread was fresh baked and
delicious. The beer was Ok the Vodka was full strength and smooth which is very
rare in an All Inclusive hotel.
We had heard bad report about Kusadasi but we loved it, it’s a nice town with
every thing within walking distance around the harbour and so easy to get to on
the Dolmus,
We had a brilliant holiday at an amazing price.

We didn’t go into kusadasi much but while we were there everything seemed really nice.We went to one of the bars there which was quite cheap! In Kusadasi it seems quite clean. When you are walking around there are men trying to sell you perfume which the packaging looked really nice but the perfume itself wasn’t a pleasant smell and once you sprayed it on you it lasted for about a few seconds so we were told at the welcome meeting. The shops are clean and staff are very friendly.

Being All-Inclusive we tended to stay at the hotel, we did eat out a couple of times in Kusudasi, and had a very enjoyable evening, 15 of us visited Molly Molone’s in Bar street, where we had a three course meal with drinks and this came to

It is the third time that we have stayed in Kusadasi and have booked again for 2006. Everyone is very friendly, although it can get very annoying with people trying to get you to come every shop and resteraunt that you pass, although maybe this is just in the quieter months of the year when there are not as many people around!
