Did not spend much time in the resort as Hotel was miles away, but Kusadasi was an interesting mix of old and new buildings, loads of shops in the narrow streets selling Fake everything which if you are prepared to haggle can be very cheap. Beware though because they use the Euro a lot which can make things much more expensive so always check that you are talking the same currency before agreeing a deal.

Found most of the shops to be selling fake copies of branded goods. Walking round the town you are continually hassled by shop owners and are unable to browse and enjoy yourself. Not for me!

Love, love Kusadasi! We shopped and drank all week. Some really nice restaurants in the centre and on Ladies Beach. Can be a bit annoying all the hassling to get you into bars but once you get past all that the Turkish people are lovely, great sense of humour. Dolmus service is so handy for visitng different parts of resort. So many places we’d recommend i’d be listing them all day, we’ll definitely be back.

The resort clean and tidy.

Entertainment great. you can travel to nearest town good fun at the Tulip Bar all the staff great, they offer a taxi service to and from the hotel for free. Great English breakfast cheap and cheerful.

Wednesday market great fun, my kids came home with great bargains after a bit of bartering they love it “Asda price”.

Kusadasi very busy but be aware of being pulled into the leather shops you wont get back out.

You must barter we paid no more than ten pounds for anything. Take mostly English money as they would rather have English or the euro, you will get a better price.

The beach at the hotel is small and has small stones and shells that can cut your feet. once into the water it’s lovely clear blue sea. pedaloes and canoes great fun, but all other water sports there is a charge.

DONT miss the Turkish bath “heaven”.

Kusadasi is not what I expected. It is not what I would describe as a “Pretty” place. The people are excellent. They are so friendly, but very touchy feely.
We met some great people, especially in the United Bar (excellent food!).
Bar Street is great for a night out, but I would advise that you go with the Turks, they look after you and you don’t get ripped off that way.
The pestering to buy or go into the restaurants can get a bit annoying. They all remember you, so if you say tomorrow then they expect to see you tomorrow.
Go on the boat trip. Excellent value. We always book our trips independently because it’s cheeper and in Kusadasi there are plenty of excursion shops. Barter for everything except food in restaurants!

The resort was as expected. Not much around the immediate area but a bus ride away puts you in the middle of town.

Lots of resturants jewellery and leather shops and the markets. Locals hassle you but are friendly – just a polite no and you will be fine.

By fair the hotel is the best in the area and in Turkey it is 5* not 3* as said in England.

Kusadasi is very nice, all the cruise ships come in to the port. Very clean. Did not go into the town for entertainment as we were a/i, so cant really comment.

Have to say the hassle from shops and traders in the town was a nightmare. Worst I have ever come across, they were quite insulting too if you did not buy anything, so did not go into town that much.

I would go back to Kusadasi but would not like to stay right in the centre of town.

The resort of kusadasi is very hustle bustle and its like running the gauntlet trying to do some shopping in any of the streets as you are consantly harassed by vendors trying to get you into their shops or bars. Also on the days there are any big liners in the port the price of everything trebles. It is not a resort i would want to visit again.I cant really comment on the beach in kusadasi as we only went to the one at the hotel, which was ok ,they try hard to keep the seaweed at bay ,nice to have free use of the canoes and pedalos though.
