Kusadasi

Kusadasi is the most popular and known touristic destination of city of Aydin.  Kusadasi (The Bird’s Island) derives its name from the bird shaped peninsula that Kusadasi lays on. Rapidly growing holiday resort Kusadasi has about 57.000 inhabitants. However, population of the town can raise about 500.000 including tourists during the season.

The popular holiday resort Kusadasi was a small town with its inhabitants those fishing and farming for their living  until its discovery for touristic needs in domestic tourism. It is only 95 kilometers away from the Beacon of Aegean Cities and one of the biggest cities of Turkey, Izmir. And 71 kilometers away from Aydin city center.
