Just got back this morning from Adakule hotel and have to say i loved every minute of it!
The location is fab (i highly suggest people try out ‘The Blue Fish’ restaurant down the road from adakule as its amazing!) Only costs approx £1.25 to get a bus into town which stops directly outside the hotel. And only 20min ride…

just got back from this hotel and like many others would not rate this as 5 star . more like 3.
we were unlucky enough to go on last 3 days of ramadam an hotel became full of indian/arab people and hoards of children who took over the hotel an pushed in ques for lifts or food ! .
air…

If You Like e Clean Environment Don’t Go ToThis HOTEL!!!! It’s Shocking The Rooms Are horrendous we were shown a family room on the 4th floor there are no balconies in this hotel it is like a prison the window in the room came down to my knee and it was a sheer drop to certain death it was dirty…

We stayed three nights at the Korumar. The rooms were generic and nothing special to write about. We had a corner room with a side view of the ocean. The negative was that it was above the nighttime stage for entertainment. The food was mediocre even though a lot of variety. It reminded me of a buffet found at a…

Just read some revieves about this hotel cannot believe what people are saying,my partner and i have just come back after 2 weeks stay must say cannot fault this hotel the staff were very friendly. The linen was changed every day bed every 3 days could have had every day but think this is a waste of time. The food was excellent…

Korumar is a good hotel with nice facilities. I would however not rate it as 5 stars. Our room was fine and spacious (quadruple: One Queen size bed and two singles, perfect for a family), but not the luxury you will expect from a 5 stars.. Sea view is spectacular but you have to pay 40 Euros more!!. Buffet breakfast…

I stayed at Adakule Hotel with my girlfriend for two weeks in June. We booked with kusadasihotel.info and only cost £500 each all inclusive. This included, flights, transfers and hotel. At this price, and after reading some of the reviews on here, we were a little sceptical before arriving.

ARRIVAL AND ROOM
We arrived in the afternoon and were greeted at reception by someone who could speak very good english and was very helpful. We quickly paid for a security deposit box and received a room key. The room looked along the lines like a premier travel lodge room. It looked very light and modern. We expected to be staying in the Anex, which is a separate building from the main hotel, however, when I booked the holiday I emailed the hotel and asked for a sea view room. I didn’t think we would actually be given one, but to our surprise we were on the 5th floor with a lovely view. The cleaners visited the room everyday and changed the bed sheets.

RESTAURANT AND BARS
The furniture in the main restaurant was a little shabby. The tables and chairs were looking old as well as the table cloth and chair covers. Despite that, the food was much better than I expected. There was fresh food everyday, with many different meat dishes, salad dishes etc

There was another cafe area called French Street near the pool where you ccould get freshly made turkish pancakes from 11am onwards, and then at 12pm till 4pm you caould get fast food i.e. pizzas, burgers, chips, sandwishes, vegetable dishes and water melon.

The bars around the hotel had Efes Pilsen beer on draft and real Coca Cola, Sprite and Fanta, as well as orange juice, apple juice cherry juice. You could also get their local vodk and Raki (which is like Sambuca). The bars around the pool areas also had slush machines.

POOLS AND BEACH
There was the main pool where they had the animation team every day playing music and games, there was another large silent pool if you wanted to relax more, and a large childrens pool with slides. There was also 3 large slides which were good fun. We usually stayed around the silent pool area, and only went to the beach once. The beach area was nice although we found the sea water close to the shore to be a little dirty and didn’t look very inviting.

The grounds surrounding the hotel and pools were beatiful. It was obvious that there were full time staff looking after the plants and trees etc.

TURKISH BATH AND MASSAGE
We would highly recommend the turkish bath and Swedish massage which we had at the hotel. The people were very nice and it only cost around £65 for the two of us. It was very good value for money considering it all lasted around two hours.

CONCLUSION
For the price we paid for this hotel we could not believe how good it was. Yes there are places which could be updated a bit, and yes there were many many steps from our room on the 5th floor to the beach. There are lifts all of the way, although they were slow at times, why do people have to complain so much about it?? Don’t be lazy and just walk!
We probably only noticed around 8 british people in the two weeks, as most guests were from Bulgaria and Holland. We sometimes had problems when trying to queue lol, some people have no manners! All the staff were very nice and pleasant, some knew basic English and others were very fluent.

As for the “5 STARS”, it is definitely not a 5 star hotel in terms of what british people may consider to be 5 star. I would personally give the following ratings:

Room – high 3 / low 4
Restaurant and bars – high 3 / low 4
Pool areas – high 4
Overall – high 3 / low 4

Overall I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who want a superb time and is on a budget! £1000 for two people for two weeks in a great hotel is an absolute bargain!!

The resort was also clean and tidy but there was alot of building work going on in the town. The entertainment was excellent especially bar street. There is a number of beaches in the resort which was also very good if you didnt want to sit at the beach there was watersports and a beachside bar the staff was also very friendly at the beaches. I would definately visit this resort again.

The resort of Kusadasi itself was a mere 15 minute walk from the hotel and was a lively and wonderful mix of bazaars, jewelery shops, markets, clothes shops, restaurants (there’s even a Burger King for those who miss something English!) and bars, many of which are open until the early hours of the morning.

I’m not a great fan of beaches and so can’t comment on the ones in and around Kusadasi hence the 1 rating.

Kusadasi is a popular cruise ship port and when the big ships come in the prices go up and the exchange rate goes down.

You can go nowhere without hassle from traders and local Turkish holidaymakers seem to dump there rubbish anywhere, not really surprising as they dont seem to have waste bins in Turkey.

The beaches are diverse, sand, pebbles, plastic bottles and corn cobs! Which is a shame as the water is a lovely shade of blue. Entertainment was really down to what the cafe bars put on and most of it was cheesy but us foreigners love it really.

Belly dancing, Turkish spoon dancing! and waiters stripping off their shirts and dancing to anything. I really have no desire to return to Kusadasi but relocate the Carina apartments to another part of Turkey and Who knows?
