Just returned from 1 week Hotel Fantasia Kusadasi – All inclusive. The hotel itself was beautiful, staff were very helpful. I wouldnt say it was 4-5 star though. The food was not very good in the buffet,we didnt really eat in there, the speciality restaurants were good we ate in each of the three.
The “pancake lady” during the day…
This was our 3rd AI holiday in 3 years, previous ones having been at the Hemera in Side and the Hilton Sharks Bay in Sharm el Sheikh. We chose the Fantasia for its value and its #1 in Kusadasi TA rating (at the time). The Fantasia was almost as good as the Hemera in most respects and better in some….
My girlfriend and I have just got back from a week at the fantasia, (half Term week) and we both absolutely loved it.
My expectations weren’t sky high because of the few negative reviews on here as well not necessarily trusting the Turkish quality assurance, but i can say it was everything that we wanted and more from a half…

I have just returned after spending a week at the Fantasia Hotel Kusadasi. The staff were always very helpfull, and always seemed happy, and nothing was too much trouble. The pool area was always very clean, as was the rest of the complex, and there were more than enough sunbeds every day, along with pool towels that were issued on a daily basis. The food was plentiful, and there was always something to eat even for fussy eaters like myself.Fried eggs or omlettes were cooked fresh everyday for the individual. There was no going up to the bar. You sat at a table and they came and took your order and brought it to your table. All in all a very good hotel indeed.

With breath taking views of the ocean, this hotel is the ideal setting for couples/singles that want to “get away” from the tourist traps.
It is 2 hours away from the airport but the shuttle coach was comfortable and clean.Arriving at the hotel you are greeted by the staff. Check in was quick and before we knew it we were settled in our room.
First impressions of the hotel are impressive and it was immaculately clean. We went on an all inclusive basis but drinking was not really something many people did apart from a couple of drinks in the evening. So if you want a lively evening this is definitely not the place for you.
.There is plenty offood choices for people of all dietry needs…and what was lovely is part of the dining room is out on the terrace looking over the sea.
It was perfect.
It is not a hotel for children as it is based on catering for couples. The rooms were immaculate, the staff were willing and friendly. There is a small gym and massage is available for a fee.
Negatives for me were minimal. Nothing going on in the evening except for someone on a piano which was well done but very high brow. There was no evening entertainment but plenty of things going on in the day.The animation team were very friendly.
A leisurely stroll down some steps takes you onto the beach…and it was so peaceful there. We loved it.

I booked this holiday for me and my partner, it was a last minute thing so we didn’t know what to expect and i had read good and bad reviews. When we got there after quite a long coach transfer(around 2 hours!) it was early hours and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The lobby is gorgeous! All marble with gold finishings and a coloured waterfall! We had a nice sized room with a balcony and a gorgous view of the sea. The room had all necesseties such as a kettle and hairdryer and enough storage and also a safe but you need a deposit for that. We went all inclusive and to be honest i thought the food was fine, brekfast is a buffet style all laid out cheeses and cereals etc and then there are eggs, omelette bacon etc freshly cooked infront of you and coffee and tea machines, there are pizza, ice cream and jacket potatoes served round the pool area then dinner which was different most days veal and pork or chicken and fish served with veg and potatoes and salad and even a vegetarian section and tea was similar again and you can get light snacks later on. A few people the next day were complaining to us about the food and how their patio door didn’t lock but i think sometimes people are too fussy, we are a young couple in our twenties and were more than happy with the food and the patio door didn’t matter as nobody could have climbed onto the balcony as they are seperate unless they want to risk falling!!. There are activities round the pool for kids during the day and at night a sing a long display which is more for kids, not really our scene but it’s been like that most holiday resorts we’ve been on! It is a five minute walk across the road to catch a doma bus into the town and it takes about ten minutes and is really cheap. There is a big market twice a week (great for bargain hunters!) and plenty of shops and pubs etc. We also went to the aqua land which was very good. I can honestly say we loved Turkey the scenes were breath taking and the hotel Fantasia was a very pleaseant stay. My only warning is do not go on a boat trip if you don’t want to be sick! We went on one , everything fine on the way there then nearly falling over board on the way back!! But overall i’d definately give the hotel 09/10!!

The resort of Kusadasi is literally a 100 metre walk down the hill outside of the hotel and is a fantastic mix of bars and shops. The indoor market is a must for a visit and I can still remember vividly the welcome and food served at Saray restaurant. It is the first time I have returned so often to the same restaurant on a holiday. Also worth a visit is the family run kebab shop on the corner of bar street and yildirim street. I had some wonderful Turkish stews and kebabs cooked by the father and served by the sons who took great pride in showing the picture of Roger Moore eating there. We found the people of Kusadasi to be among the nicest we have come across in Turkey. No pushiness here just welcoming smiles and the want to talk to you as friends.
The beaches are excellent one being shingle and the other being sand and the harbour front is a stopping point for many cruise ships. Beware, when the ships come in the prices shoot up but go back down as soon as they leave. Bargains are everywhere and Kusadasi boasts one of the biggest markets I have been to. There are excellent excursions to be had in this area and a superb waterpark just outside the town.
The nightlife in Kusadasi is bouncing with something to suit all ages. Bar street is very popular with the young though the promenade and shopping streets and markets are predominantly used by those looking for a slower pace of life. Kids a very well catered for with all kinds of entertainment. This really is a family orientated resort.

Kusadasi – our hotel was located about 6km from Kusadasi only took 10 mins or less by Dolomus and very cheap.
Visited Kusadasi 5 times, twice at night the rest during the day for market and shopping. Lively place with plenty of shops, eating places and bars/ discos.
Never had any hassle and had no problems at all. The Turkish people are very friendly and helpful.

We didnt venture into Kusadasi at night at all as there was so much to do at the hotel. We did go to the market on wednesday which was an experience so say the least and picked up a few bargains. We went to Virgin Mary House and Ephesus but took a taxi rather than book with First Choice as werent sure how long kids woulg stick the heat as you were up in the mountains with no shade – must have been well over 50. The taxi driver spoke perfect english and first took us to Virgin Mary’s house and waited then on to a gold factory which sold beautiful jewellery at very competive prices made to order. He then dropped us off at the top entrance to Ephesus and met us about an hour later at the bottom all for 120 lira.
There is so much to say about Aqua Fantasy but I dont want to ruin the suprises. If you have booked to go you will have a fantastic time. We would certainly go back.
