The sourrounding area was very dirty and grubby. The footpaths were broken and hazardous and there were piles of rubble, broken benches and rubbish in some areas. In a word, unpleasant.
The entertainment was OK, but it got a bit repetitive in the second week because the same shows were repeated.
The beach itself was unspectacular, but the turquoise water was divine, and so deliciously warm.
I wouldn’t visit this resort again because I don’t like to go to the same place twice.

Loved Kusadasi, a shoppers paradise. Many restaurants, always friendly with plenty of advice about where to go. Very scenic area with lots of sea views. Visited regularly by many cruise ships.

we really liked kusadasi, the great choice of bars and eateries make it a city worth staying in.

There are plenty of places nearby to visit to [ephesus, soke, selcuk] all easily accessable by dolmus

We met some really cool folks who certainly knew the meaning of hospitality

I would highly recommend taking a dolmus to ladies beach [1.5tl each way] there are plenty of bars and the beach is clean. Long beach is a bit of let down though. a lot of the beach is divided up into the private areas for the hotels. Its a beach, and its long. It does exactly what is says on the tin

Market days are a revelation. Tourist tat on wednesday, food on friday. Really worth checking out. Will we go back to kusadasi?, were already planning it!

The resort is grat but need to catch bus or taxi into town.
The beach near the hotel was ok but dont like sand anyway so just went on it to sunbathe at the end of the jetty!

Would certainly return in the future

To be fair to the resort it was very clean.
Wasn’t too keen on the entertainment.
Good resort for kids.

Kusadasi is a nice town and there are also loads of day trips nearby. The water quality of the beaches may be a little below what I’d like though.

The Resort was a little out of the way, but Kusadasi the main resort centre was around 7-10 minutes away by Dolmus. The beach was ok. The water was very cloudy and had lots of seaweed in it, but it was very shallow and safe so if you walked out a little the water there was a lot clearer. Yes I would definitely return to this resort, it has good entertainment and a lovely friendly atmosphere.

Market in town every Wednesday, it’s a must see event. Beware with children as they like to touch them and it frightens them, but they mean no harm. Be prepared to haggle like your life depended on it to get the right price. We bought an item which started off at ?40 but had it for ?8. They’ll take any currency Turkish, Euros and Sterling.

The animation team made our holiday they were Naf shows but was better then nothing they really work hard the animation guys Ice, Pedro and Oscar were all a bit off the wall which made our holiday,

Was very disappointed with the beach as the email said beach next door when we saw it its beds on man made beach you cannot walk into water its steps down and quite deep, You Carnot call it a beach but good pool areas.

Kusadasi has something for everyone. Easy to walk around. A good mixture of shops from the designer, real and fake to the cheaper bazaars. There is a good clothes and souvenier market, although a lot of the stalls are the same. Good fun bartering. Stay out of the jewellry shops on cruise days as they put the prices up. Found some very good restaurants compared to other Turkish resorts. Best and most friendly – Ali and his family at the Dedem Kebap on end of bar street.
Stayed away from bar street but suitable for the youngsters. Good Turkish night at the Karavansaray. Mixture of entertainment by Turkish entertainers. 3 course meal and drinks included. However fill up on the 57 different starters as the main course and sweet is just adequate. The beaches are clean and there are several to choose from. Dolmus travel is cheap. Suggest a trip to Celchuk market and on to Sirrince. Kusadasi has a smaller local market on a Tuesday, much cheaper. Found all the Locals to be very helpful and friendly and we have made friends for life.

kusadasi was not the turkey i visited 20 years ago. gone were the market stalls and local shops with complimentary tea to encourage the tourists.the bazaar was too intimating to walk thro and the heckling stopped any would be purchase.the local beaches were covered in rubbish,cigarette ends,bottles and debris.there is much development going on presumably to encourage tourism but i would not recommend a visit.

we have a great holiday and have booked to go back with first choice next august! even taking extra people this time! the only complaint i would have was bodrum airport, arriving their at early hours in the morning an having to que to pay your ?10.00 for over an hour! when your tired its so annoying! the thing that keeps you going is knowing you have just begun your holiday! also the long coach journey to your resort, but we have just booked for next year and the new airport is only a 45 min transfer. also coming home we had 2 hour delay at bodrum with no seats, the children with hungry an thirsty, i ordered 5 soft drinks and was charged ?17.50! we are on holiday and im not tight but my goodness what a rip off! so take your own water! apart from that, the holiday was great and well done first choice an we have booked for august 2008 already!

We didnt venture into Kusadasi at night at all as there was so much to do at the hotel. We did go to the market on wednesday which was an experience so say the least and picked up a few bargains. We went to Virgin Mary House and Ephesus but took a taxi rather than book with First Choice as werent sure how long kids woulg stick the heat as you were up in the mountains with no shade – must have been well over 50. The taxi driver spoke perfect english and first took us to Virgin Mary’s house and waited then on to a gold factory which sold beautiful jewellery at very competive prices made to order. He then dropped us off at the top entrance to Ephesus and met us about an hour later at the bottom all for 120 lira.

There is so much to say about Aqua Fantasy but I dont want to ruin the suprises. If you have booked to go you will have a fantastic time. We would certainly go back.

We stayed in the palmin in kusadasi we really loved it. We had never been to turkey until two years ago and fell in love with it the resort is very clean the beach is not as big as we thought it would be but has all you need close at hand. Restaurants snack bars are very reasonable in ladies beach we tried lots of different ones the fresh fish dishes were top quality. Centrim is lovely to wonder through in the evening lots of lovely restaurants to choose from the staff all being very helpful and friendly.

Wether it was the wrong time of year or not i dont know but we found the resort to be very boring with no entertainment around and not mant restaurants or bars to choose from at all. As you walked through the town you would get hasseled to buy stuff even if you politly said no thanks!! the market was a nightmare with people clinging to you until you looked at what they had to sell, we also came across a very agressive stall holder as he changed his mind about the price he agreed when he saw we had more money… i would recommend oli deniz but not this resort!!!!!!!!!1

The resort is lovely, although a bit over populated, with a few to many unfinished sky scraper style buildings. Not much to say about the other stuff, altough Ladies Beach is worth a visit. The hotel beach was disgusting though, basically it was a pile of mud… We sunbathed on the jetty all fortnight and that was good… Be warned the sea is colder than expected! Enjoy!

kussadasi is very old and historical and a lovely place to visit the beach is great and the resteraunts all very nice. if you want to visit in the evening you just phone the resteraunt of you choice and they will pick you up and drop you back free of charge. we would recommend agora. dolmusis are very cheap and run every ten minutes from right outside the hotel.

Towards the end of the season when we were the there – Still lots to do and lots of trips to go on. Eating out is very cheap and the standard of food is excellent. The beaches are very clean – the whole resort is just a really nice relaxing place.

Found the resort itself extremely clean. We caught the bus from the hotel into town and got a taxi back. You do get hassle to go into the shops but if you politely say ‘no thanks’ they do leave you alone. Remember, it’s only the same as people knocking on your front door trying to sell you something!!! We only went on beach once but found it very clean. We would revisit Kusadasi again.
