i love kusadasi but this hotel is terrible,my room had a nasty smell of mens toilets.the evening meals served around the pool was not pleaseant with more wasps on the food than anything else and to top it right off getting ripped off buy the card system when you have a drink etc aroung the pool and end up payimg…
We arrived at bodrum airport and were told that the Pigale hotel ,which we had booked, had recently changed its name to the Akfenclub. We arrived in the early hours of the morning and thought we will sleep on it and sort things out in the morning.
Upon waking, we looked out on the balcony and saw the surrounding hotels….

The resort is excellant, full of things to do. Its definately the place to go if you want to have fun that you will never forget! It is very clean and all the people are so friendly (they really do love the Irish!)
There are no complaints to be made about the entertainment….the night life is just great,there are places for everybody to go whether you want to relax or party all night!! There are plenty of disco bars to choose from which are full of unforgetable holiday atmosphere.
The beaches are lovely…but the only thing I would say about them is that they are too full of people…I would say get there early because by 11:00am the beach will be full.
I would personaly recommend long beach..it is very pretty,not to full and there are plenty of water sports to choose from.
This is my second time been to Kusadasi and I love it. I would really and honestly return as it is just plain and simply a wonderful place.

We stayed in Kusadasi, Turkey. Our first visit to Turkey, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. A bit daunting at first though, probably the same all over Turkey, HASSLE!!!
Once you got to grips with the locals trying to drag you into their shops (if they were to condense them down, there would only be 3 shops as they all sell the same!) you got used to it, you could get some great bargains.
The dolmus ran every 2 mins, and was a great way to get about for 40p each.
Ladies beach is beautiful and the sunsets were amazing.
If all of Turkey is like Kusadasi then I will be a regular visitor.
I’ve heard a lot of mixed views about Turkey, if you have too then don’t be put off, try it for yourself, you will be very pleasantly surprised!

The hotel itself is 7 km from Kusadasi which was very nice as the town itself is very commercialised, there were cruise ships in and out all the time. The shop keepers are very aggressive and don’t be pulled into the leather shops, you will never get out!! There are two water parks near to the hotel which are well worth a visit. Trip to Ephesus is a must, although beware it can get very busy and hot. Also if you visit the market always check what is actually put into your bag, as we paid for 7 t shirts and only actually received 4, the same happend to someone else in the hotel!! Definitely would visit Ephesus Princess again, a bonus was that our 14 year old son went free.

Kusadasi is a lovely resort, very busy with shops & bars, lots of hassle off shop & bar owners though to go into their shops/bars, but once you are in they really look after you, and if there is a cruise ship in they up the prices & wont haggle as good. Would definatley recommend the Mayflower, lovely food, excellent service. Silver sands beach was very nice, excellent breakfast in the cafe & they go out their way to look after you. We will definatley visit Kusadasi again but next time fly to Izmir,(2 1/4 hours from Bodrum is way too far).

Fantastic place to have an holiday the hotel is excellent staff friendly plenty of great places to eat.
